If you don’t take care of yourself properly, though, that might be difficult to do. This article explores six different ways you can look and feel your absolute best — read through all of them to find something that appeals to you.

1. Try Meditation or Yoga

The practice of meditation is linked with several health benefits, including stress reduction. If you’re feeling stressed, try adopting a daily meditation routine. And if your schedule allows for it, try adding in at least one yoga class per week.

2. Drink Less Alcohol

One drink per day for women and two drinks per day for men is considered moderate drinking, but research suggests even one drink can impact your health. If you’re trying to feel your best, consider cutting out alcohol altogether. You’ll save money and will likely feel better overall if you make a conscious effort to cut back on (or eliminate) alcohol consumption.

3. Go Grocery Shopping Often

Eating well is one of the easiest ways to feel your best. That’s why it’s important that you grocery shop for fresh, healthy food at least once a week. Too often, our calendars are filled with activities that take us away from home, leaving us in search of a quick bite or ready-to-eat options. This can lead us down a rabbit hole of processed foods — leading to poor nutrition and weight gain.

4. Eat More Veggies

You know veggies are good for you, but you don’t eat enough of them. Your Mom nagging you to eat your veggies at dinnertime was on to something… Start small with a veggie-packed smoothie first thing in the morning. If that feels too radical, try adding more veggie side dishes when eating out or ordering takeout at home.

5. Change Up Your Style

The way you dress can instantly affect how you’re perceived in and out of work. Give your style a makeover dressing to fit your profession and choose clothing colors based on your eye and hair color.

Also, look for clothes that fit your body type. If you notice that a pair of your pants or a dress is too long or too short, you can have it altered. It can be as simple as hemming a pair of pants or taking up some slack in between buttons, but these minor adjustments make it look like you spent more time than you did picking out what to wear. 

6. Achieve Your Goals

If you're hoping to pursue a master's degree, consider doing so online. Online programs provide you with flexible scheduling that makes it easier for working professionals or full-time students to juggle multiple classes and activities to get their degrees. There are also many options to choose from; you can earn your master’s in education, nursing, information technology, and more.

Whether you’re eating better or dressing for success, there are so many ways to look and feel your best, but just because you haven’t figured out exactly how to get there yet doesn’t mean you won’t.
